More than two decades ago, the development group of Cooper & Stebbins began development of the Southlake Town Square. The Leander-based Marquis Group has previous experience with building luxury residential buildings that focus on creating a walkable atmosphere, with one of its previous projects being The Montgomery Plaza Residences in Fort Worth located in the 7th Street neighborhood.

The Garden District in which the new development is located is a residential neighborhood characterized by its tree-lined streets and parks. Community amenities include a dog park, a community garden and a bocce court.

The new luxury development will be primarily marketed toward professionals who wish to live in a luxury setting as well as baby boomers who want to enjoy an upscale lifestyle without dealing with the hassles associated with owning a traditional single-family home. True to their name, the Parkview Residences overlook the neighborhood’s new park. The homes are all located on a single level, while the buildings feature rooftop decks, double insulated walls and soundproof solid-core doors.

Amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, a yoga salon, a commercial grade demonstration kitchen for culinary events and private parties, a media lounging area with a big screen, secure parking and storage space for bikes and toys. With units ranging in size from 1,500 to 3,200 square feet, two-bedroom and three-bedroom floor plans are available. Each unit features an open floor plan and custom-designed cabinetry.
