Weekend Brings Fun and Free Events for Allen Home Owners to Attend

While many people who live in the Dallas-Fort Worth region focus much of their attention on Dallas when it comes to events, there are plenty of other activities taking place on a regular basis within the other cities and communities in North Texas. In fact, Saturday, June 27^th offers a couple of fun events that you might want to consider attending.

Market Street Allen USA

Taking place from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm, the free Market Street Allen USA event will feature a lineup of musical acts and other entertainment taking place on two separate stages. The event will also feature concessionaires selling festival foods and snacks, while the Kids Zone will feature a bounce house and other play structures for the kids to enjoy.

Presented by Harley-Davidson of Dallas, the event will end with one of the largest fireworks displays in North Texas. The event will also feature a Craft Tent as well as access to the spray ground at Celebration Park, which is where the event takes place. Other features of the 104-acre park include a 1.5-mile perimeter trail, a playground, a large sport court and lighted baseball fields, tennis courts and soccer fields. The park is located at 701 Angel Parkway at the intersection of Malone Drive and Angel Parkway in Allen, Texas.

Celebrate Freedom 25

While in the area, you might also want to check out the Celebrate Freedom 25! Event in Parker, Texas. Also taking place on June 27^th, this all-day event runs from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm. At the Celebrate Freedom 25! Event, you can enjoy live performances from Christian musicians while also browsing through exhibits, enjoying rides and letting the kids have fun with the many different forms of children’s entertainment at the children’s village. The event will also feature a fireworks display.

Taking place at Southfork Ranch, the Celebrate Freedom 25! event is an alcohol-free event. Furthermore, while you can bring coolers and food in order to eat from your car, no outside food or coolers can be brought into the event. If you obtain a ticket before going to the event, parking costs $15. Those without a ticket pay $25 for parking. Tickets can be obtained by visiting Interstate Batteries, CareNow, Taco Casa, Kwik Kar and other participating locations. This year’s lineup of artists includes:
