New Audi Dealership to Open in Craig Ranch Community

A new Audi dealership is on its way to North Texas. In addition to making the Audi vehicles more readily available for purchase, the move is expected to bring a significant number of new jobs to the region.

New Audi Dealership to Open Along Highway 121 Corridor

Sewell Automotive Cos. has finalized its purchase of a high-profile tract of land located at the northwest corner of State Highway 21 and Stacy Road in McKinney, Texas. The new dealership, which will cover 10.5 acres of land and over both new and used cars, will be situated within the master-planned community of Craig Ranch. When the new 65,000 square foot dealership is complete, the company expects to employ approximately 100 people.

Taking a Closer Look at Craig Ranch

Situated on more than 400 acres of land, the nationally-acclaimed master-planned community of Craig Ranch is characterized by its green vistas and luxury lifestyle. Amenities found in the community include a five-star golf course as well as miles of running and biking trails. The community is also home to the Cooper Fitness Center and Spa, which offers personal trainers to assist with workout routines. Other opportunities for recreation and fitness can be found at the McKinney Soccer Fields, The Ballfields and the Metroplex hockey facility.

In addition to offering a number of amenities, Craig Ranch also has an active Community Association that plans a variety of activities throughout the year. These include holiday celebrations as well as a Kite Festival and an annual Relay for Life event. The community is also just minutes away from Dallas and its many restaurants, shops and cultural attractions.

The Expanding Highway 121 Corridor

The location of the new Audi dealership along State Highway 121 is one of many companies that are choosing to move or to expand in the region. In fact, a growing number of businesses are expressing interested in purchasing land in the region. This is at least partially due to Toyota’s decision to bring its new North American campus to the region, as well as the fact that the area has become the hub for Liberty Mutual Insurance. The residential growth tied to these employers is also massive, thereby increasing the need for residential homes.

In all Texas State Highway 121 runs southwest to northeast through north central Texas. The start of the highway is found in downtown Fort Worth at the junction of Interstate 35W and runs to Bonham, Texas to an area just north of the junction with U.S. Highway 82. The portion of the highway that runs from Fort Worth to Euless is referred to as Airport Freeway, while the portion that runs from Grapevine to Coppell is known as International Parkway. Northwest of Melissa, the highway is often referred to as the Sam Rayburn Highway.
