Featuring daily specials, which can be enjoyed on the patio that opens to the street and pedestrian traffic, the restaurant will be open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 am until 11:00 pm and on Sundays from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm.

Legal Grounds Coffeehouse Moves over for The Heights

After the closing of Legal Grounds coffeehouse, which was located at 2015 Abrams Road, the chef behind the Grape has announced plans to open a new restaurant in its place. New Liza Garza Restaurant to Open Downtown

Liza Garza, who is the owner of Sissy’s, has announced plans to open a new restaurant offering a Delta and Lowcountry flair. A full menu and opening date have not yet been announced, but the restaurant – which is to be named Shelby Hall – is expected to open this fall at 1525 Elm Street.

Mellow Mushroom Adds Burgers to Menu

Currently located in nine different places throughout North Texas, the pizza restaurant known as Mellow Mushroom is now offering hamburgers as a menu option. In true form to its pizza offerings, Mellow Mushroom will not be offering simple, basic hamburgers. Rather, it has several specialty burger options on the menu. These include the Primo Pub, which is garnished with caramelized onions, Swiss cheese and a garlic aioli spread. The restaurant is also offering the Goin’ Cali, which features cheddar cheese and avocado lime spread, as well as the Fully Blazed burger consisting of jalapeños, cheddar cheese and chipotle spread. All burgers are made with 100 percent Black Angus beef, though veggie burgers are available as well.

Pie Five Offers BBQ Pizza for a Limited Time

Pie Five has also recently unveiled its Carolina Golden BBQ pie, which merges pizza and barbecue in one great dish. Consisting of pulled pork, cheddar cheese, diced pickles, red onion and barbecue sauce, the pizza will only be offered throughout the summer.

Deep Ellum Offers Coffee, Pastries and Dancing

The newly-opened Café Salsera now offers salsa dancing in Deep Ellum at 2610 Elm Street. The Caribbean-style restaurant features a 28-foot stage, which is used for dining during the day and dancing and live music at night. The restaurant also now offers coffee and pastries.
