Repticon Dallas Reptile and Exotic Animal Show to Wow Home Owners in August

For reptile and exotic animal lovers throughout the Dallas area, the Repticon Reptile and Exotic Animal Show is a must-see. Now a staple in Texas, the Repticon show offers opportunities to see and purchase a variety of reptiles, amphibians and other exotic animals while also participating in opportunities to win great prizes.

Exotic Animals and Other Fun for Dallas Home Owners

At the Repticon Dallas event, visitors have the opportunity to meet with a variety of vendors offering supplies, feeders, cages and other merchandise for reptiles, amphibians and other exotic animals. The event will also host a number of live animal seminars and presentations. Events planned for Saturday include:

• 11:00 am: Aguamigos Axolotls – Caring for Axolotls
• 12:00 pm: Priceless Pythons – Making the Most of Your Experience: Choosing a Healthy Reptile
• 1:00 pm: Mr. Danny Steele – How to Responsibly Keep Big Snakes
• 2:00 pm: DownUnder Dragonz – Basic Bearded Dragon Care
• 3:00 pm: Loving Reptiles – Turtles!
• 4:00 pm: DownUnder Dragonz – Basic Bearded Dragon Care

On Sunday, many of the presentations will be on the same topics, though some of the times will be different. The schedule of events for Sunday will be:

• 11:00 am: Aguamigos Axolotls – Caring for Axolotls
• 12:00 pm: Priceless Pythons – Making the Most of Your Experience: Choosing a Healthy Reptile
• 1:00 pm: DownUnder Dragonz – Basic Bearded Dragon Care
• 2:00 pm – Loving Reptiles – Turtles!
• 3:00 pm – DownUnder Dragonz – Basic Bearded Dragon Care

The event will feature both regional and national vendors and will include raffles, with one held every hour for a variety of prizes. While many of the high-end prizes will be reserved for VIP guests, there will also be several prizes available to those without VIP passes. Among the prizes planned for the event are an entire ExoTerra Habitat set-up and large cage décor such as rock outcrops and waterfalls.

In addition to being eligible for additional raffle prizes, VIP guests who arrive early to the show will also receive a Zoo Med tote bag. The bag will include free product samples. The bag and its samples will only be given out while supplies last and will only be given to VIP guests who purchase their tickets online.

The Repticon Dallas Reptile and Exotic Animal Show will take place on August 1^st and 2^nd at the Knights of Columbus Center. The show will start at 10:00 am on both days, though VIPs gain early entrance at 9:00 on Saturday. The show ends at 5:00 pm on Saturday and 4:00 pm on Sunday. The cost is $10 per adult and $5 for children between the ages of five and twelve. Children under the age of five are admitted for free. VIP passes are only $12 for adults and $5 for children. The Knights of Columbus Center is located at 2280 Springlake Road in Farmers Branch, Texas.
