Area History and Information:

Old Lake Highlands contains just shy of 2,000 homes, and many of them are over 80 years old. There are a variety of architectural elevations here, including Tudor and Craftsman. Many residents of Old Lake Highlands are interested in preserving the architectural integrity of the community, and are averse to people moving in to demolish old homes to make room for more modern ones.  There is currently a movement underway to this regard, as residents have learned of similarly successful movements in other parts of Dallas.
