Hollywood Heights is a residential neighborhood in east Dallas. The neighborhood lies to the northwest of East Grand Avenue/SH 78, and is located near the Tennison Park Golf Course.

Residents of Hollywood Heights benefit from close access to White Rock Lake, the popular Lakewood neighborhood offering shopping and entertainment options, and the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden.

Area history and information

Hollywood Heights dates back to the 1920’s and is part of a special conservation district put in place to protect the neighborhood’s historic homes. Its sister subdivision, Santa Monica, is also part of this special district that was one of the first in Dallas. Many of the homes are pre- World War II, and were built in the Tudor style.
