Forest Hills is a residential area of east Dallas that is directly south of White Rock Lake. The neighborhood surrounds Forest Hills Boulevard.

There are a variety of parks near to Forest Hills, including White Rock East Park, White Rock Lake Park, Norbuck Park, Lake Highlands Park, and Tokalon Park.

White Rock Lake is the primary attraction in the Forest Hills area, and includes the White Rock Lake Museum and White Rock Dog Park. Additional nearby attractions include the Lakewood Theatre, a 1930’s-style movie theatre that still shows single-screen movies and functions as a special events venue, and the Dallas Arboretum. Casa Linda Plaza and Lakewood Shopping Center are also nearby.
Large, wooded lots are characteristic of Forest Hills, and there are about 600 homes in the area. Families have flocked here over the years for the large homes and gorgeous backdrop that’s ripe with mature trees. Forest Hills was annexed in 1945.
