Casa View is a residential neighborhood in Dallas. Located near White Rock Lake and the adjacent Casa Linda neighborhood, Casa View is located in the northeastern portion of the city.

PARKS

In addition to city parks, White Rock Lake serves as a recreation center to the residents of Casa View. Here, visitors can use the nine-mile trail at White Rock Lake Park for hiking, walking, running, and cycling. There are several places to fish, and sailing is also permitted. The lake is closed to swimming and motorized boats, however.

LOCAL EVENTS

Lochwood Library is situated close to Casa View, and residents here can participate in book discussion groups and other events.

ATTRACTIONS AND SHOPPING

Residents are in close proximity to White Rock Lake, the Bath House Cultural Center, the Dallas Arboretum, and the Casa View Shopping Center. The African American Museum, Celebration Park, and the Forth Worth Museum of Science and History are also nearby.

AREA HISTORY AND INFORMATION

One portion of the historic Casa View Shopping Center housed a dance studio where Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders were selected and trained.
