New Courtyard by Marriott Hotel to Open in River Walk Development

Based in Texas, New Era Hotels & Resorts is an owner and developer of luxury resorts and hotels. The company focuses on strategic hotel development of both mid and upscale service hotels. Developing a New Hotel in North Texas

The new Texas hotel being built by New Era Hotels & Resorts will be a five-story, 146-room hotel named Courtyard by Marriott River Walk. The hotel will be situated in the heart of the River Walk, which is located at Central Park in Flower Mound, Texas. Due to the convenient location of the hotel, it will be only ten miles north of the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. The hotel will also be near to I-35 and Highway 121, while the new Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound will be located across the street.

The new hotel will offer a number of conveniences and amenities for its guests, including an amphitheater, a European-style courtyard, a fitness center, an indoor pool and a 6,100 square foot ballroom and meeting room. It will also provide guests with easy access to River Walk at Central Park, which is a master-planned, mixed-use development that will offer a variety of retailers, restaurants, service providers and other community amenities.

The hotel itself will feature 146 rooms, 39 of which will have balconies boasting views of the River Walk. Once completed in the summer of 2016, the hotel will be the first to be opened within the River Walk development in the town of Flower Mound.

Incorporated in 1961, Flower Mound is located in Denton County to the northwest of Dallas and northeast of Fort Worth. Named after the 12.5 acre mound located in the center of the town, Flower Mound is also situated next to Grapevine Lake. The town also has an impressive public park system featuring an extensive network of trails. Altogether, the town operates 54 public parks and facilities covering 693 acres of land. The community also boasts a community activity center that includes meeting rooms, a day care facility, an outdoor pool, weight lifting equipment and a 30-by-30-yard competition indoor pool. Known for having a moderately affluent population, Flower Mound has a population of around 65,000 people.
