Dallas-Fort Worth Residents Brace for Boat Show

If you love boats and spending time on the water, the DFW Boat Expo is the place for you to be this summer. The largest boating event in North Texas, this year’s show promises to feature more than 450 boats and watercraft models from more than 20 boat dealers throughout the region.

Made possible by the United Boat Dealers of North Texas, the DFW Boat Expo is put on each year in an effort to support the boating and marine industry in North Texas. At the same time, those who are interested in purchasing a boat or other watercraft have the opportunity to see what area dealers have to offer while also taking full advantage of special dealer incentives as they try to move their 2015 inventory to make room for 2016 models. The event will take place at Dallas Market Hall, which is located at 2200 Stemmons Freeway in Dallas. There is an entry fee of $12 for adults and $6 for children between the ages of 5 and 13. Children under the age of 5 are admitted for free. Tickets are available at the door. Parking for the event is free.  Admission is free on both Fridays after 5:00 pm.

Exploring Dallas Market Hall

Dallas Market Hall is the largest privately owned exhibition hall in the world. Boasting tall ceilings, a main hall and several small halls, it is an excellent location for housing a convention. The halls within the center can be used individually or for one giant show. It is located next to the Dallas Market Center, which is a 5,000,000-square-foot trade center featuring showrooms used to sell consumer products. As a wholesale marketplace, however, the market is closed to the public and open to retail buyers and industry professionals. Market events attract more than 200,000 buyers and sellers from all 50 states as well as from 80 countries.

• Sunday, July 12^th: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

• Saturday, July 18^th: 10:00 am to 9:00 pm
• Sunday, July 19^th: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
